Bio

Nadia Litterman, PhD, serves as Executive Director of the Susan Wojcicki Foundation, where she leads the foundation’s scientific strategy, organizational development, and cross-sector partnerships to advance innovation in lung cancer early detection and prevention.

When Susan was diagnosed with lung cancer, she brought Nadia on board to help map the key gaps across the lung cancer landscape and translate those insights into a focused philanthropy strategy aimed at maximizing impact. Nadia helped shape and launch the early initiatives that ultimately grew into the Susan Wojcicki Foundation and has since played a central role in building the organization from its earliest stages and expanding its scientific and partnership strategy.

Over the course of more than two decades, Nadia has worked at the intersection of science, data, and innovation, leading complex research initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and grant-funded programs. She has held leadership roles at multiple emerging biotech and data health companies, including managing drug development programs at 23andMe and Human Immunology Bioscience, and helping partners leverage platforms driven by AI and machine learning at nference and Collaborative Drug Discovery.

Early in her career, as a postdoctoral fellow, Nadia had the opportunity to work closely with the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundation as well as academic and industry partners, gaining firsthand insight into how philanthropy and cross-sector collaboration can accelerate outcomes that matter to patients. Nadia earned a PhD in Neuroscience from Harvard University as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Princeton University.

For fun, Nadia enjoys exploring California’s many hiking trails with her family and friends, discovering new restaurants, and traveling to new places whenever she can.
