Her Vision. Our Mission.

Building a future where lung cancer is detected earlier, prevented more often, and lives are saved.

make lifesaving progress possible

Every contribution brings us closer to transforming early detection and prevention of lung cancer.

The Urgent Case

Misunderstanding, stigma, and outdated assumptions are leaving too many people diagnosed with lung cancer only after it has already progressed, when choices are narrow and outcomes are far worse. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Lung cancer can be very treatable when it is caught early.

  • Every 2 minutes

someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with lung cancer

Lung cancer affects millions of people across racial, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds, including those who have never smoked or have any known risk factors.

  • #1

leading cause of cancer death in the USA

In 2020, more people died from lung cancer than breast, colorectal, and prostate cancer combined.

  • 71%

of lung cancer cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage

Lung cancer cases are often diagnosed at later stages, when survival rates are low. In contrast, lung cancer is very treatable when it is caught early.

  • How We’re Changing Outcomes

Our work advances a set of interconnected priorities designed to better define lung cancer risk, detect it earlier, and stop the disease before it advances.

    SCREEN

    Expanding who benefits from screening.

    DETECT

Finding lung cancer earlier than ever before.

    PREVENT

Intercepting the disease before it starts.
